Under ‘navigation’ the present edition has WPT and approach as directed in Ayamonte. This cannot be correct as Isla Cristina is 4 nautical miles east of Ayamonte as the crow flies and by sea about 8 nautical miles distant.  They have two new telephone number which have replaced the ones shown in the present edition. They are:  Fixed +34 959 077613 and Mobile +34 600149130

The marina claim that the depth in the marina is now 2.5 metres The new fixed telephone number for the marina is +34 4790000. Email and website are still the same.

This marina has silted up and it is only possible to safely get in and out above half tide on a rising tide. The marina manager showed me a depth survey completed last year of the entire marine, depths vary from .6 to 1.5 metres and are very variable throughout the marina.  I asked him when the marina is going to be dredged and he said that there are no plans to dredge it.  He was clearly very embarrassed by this situation.  The reason he explained was the appalling state of the economy in Spain and the fact that the government of Andalucia just do not have the money for dredging. Only about 30% of the berths are in use, most people have moved their boats to a Portuguese marina.

No changes here.  The western side of the marina was a bit shallow until about two weeks ago when dredging was carried out.

This marina never or rarely has any room for visitors. No changes.

The low bridge at the entrance often has an air height of about .50 metre at HW Springs and about the same depth at LW springs, this tends to discourage visitors but the marina is very full with locals.

No changes.

Please note the telephone number of the marina reception is 289 514282. Otherwise, all the information is correct.
