Malaysia, Borneo: Acolade for a Marine Supplier
Published 12 years ago, updated 6 years ago
Dear Cruisers,
Recently I had a wonderful experience with the Morse Company which is a supplier of cutlass bearings.
We are on a circumnavigation aboard our Tayana 47 Peregrina and presently we are in Borneo. Here in Borneo, I purchased cutlass bearings and when I sent the stamped code numbers to Morse Company in the United States, they informed me that the product was 23 years old. Borneo is famous for old, old inventory.
As a sign of goodwill and excellent customer support, Morse Company shipped me new bearings. I will continue to do business with Morse. They are part of the “nautical good guys.”
