La Graciosa, Canary Islands

Published 15 years ago, updated 6 years ago

There is space for about 100 visiting boats. Fees are still very cheap – €7 a day for my 11.5-meter boat. There is water but no electricity (and no prospect of any in the foreseeable future). Pontoons are good and the marina is well protected from the weather but with no security. But none is needed here…

Provisioning is very good despite the island’s very small population.

Isla de Alegranza to the north is now a nature reserve and you need a permit to visit. Also to anchor in most of the bays on Graciosa.

Our thanks to Anthony Swanston for this information.
