Yacht Classic Marina – A Hotel and Restaurant with a Jetty
I am a regular visitor to Yacht Classic in Fethiye and have always been made very welcome there, even this September and October when I visited single-handed with a 45-foot yacht. Whilst you can eat elsewhere and pay a higher mooring charge, Yacht Classic is essentially a hotel and restaurant with a jetty. The facilities are excellent with electricity and water on the jetty, and access to the restaurants at both Yacht Classic and Yacht Boutique hotels, as well as a swimming pool and a hammam. It is in my view quite reasonable for the hotel to expect you to eat at one of their two restaurants most nights you are there, and not use their facilities as a cut-price substitute for Ece Saray Marina which is next door.

Just a warning about “Yacht Classic Marina” in Fethiye.
The place is wonderful and offers a swimming pool, laundry, good restaurant and generally an up-market atmosphere. There are two charges for the marina – if you eat in their restaurant (which is good), then you are charged just 15tl (Turkish Lire) for the stay. If you choose not to eat there (and there are many excellent places to eat in Fethiye) then they charge 1 euro per foot. This is still an excellent rate for the facilities.
There is a catch, however – if you frequent the marina but do not eat there very often (and pay the much higher price) then you are eventually made very unwelcome indeed. I have visited this place four times this year, eaten there three times but when I went for the fifth visit I was told in no uncertain terms that they didn’t want “my sort” at the marina. The (marina staff I spoke to) also said that “Yacht Classic” was not a marina and I should go to Ece Saray if I wanted a marina. The man was very rude and all this in front of my guests who had been promised swimming and a message (they also have a good “Wellness” center there).
This is a real shame as the place is so good and it seems stupid to turn away yachts that are happy to pay a higher price for the marina facilities.
If you want a proper marina that’s cheaper than Ece Saray, but not as strict as Yacht Classic, then go 300 meters further to “Yes Marina”.
