I would like to inform the whole community of sailors that you’re not welcome in the marina of Port Ghalib in Egypt

We have been in this marina with others boats from TTT Convoy at the beginning of May. We were 5 boats and tried to get a discount without success. For 3 boats, regarding the price, we were placed in the opposite side of the marina (it was empty!!) and for each move, we had to take a shuttle (and to wait for a course…for free !!)

When we ask for diesel, the price announced was 0.88 US$. The day after when we went to fill our jerry cans, it was 0.98 US$ + 10 US $ to fill the jerry cans and 4 US $ for the customs!!! We tried to explain that to the boss of the marina and we were not really well received.

No doubt, if you have the choice, don’t go to Port Ghalib!!
