Antiguanice.com Launches Antigua´s Yachting Insider
Published 14 years ago, updated 6 years ago
The yachting industry in Antigua is active and vibrant year round and with the upcoming season shaping up to be an excellent yachting one, the time is right to make a single online source of information available for residents and visitors to Antigua that is updated regularly.
At Antiguanice.com the objective is to communicate everything to do with the yachting industry prior to owners, captains, crews or visitors arriving in Antigua, ensuring they are up to date on what is happening. Regular content will include, among other things, a calendar of events, a “racing round-up”, highlights of yachting industry happenings, sports fishing, and powerboat news, Super Yacht news, yacht club news and Customs and Immigration updates. In addition, there will be a variety of monthly features highlighting such things as anchorages in Antigua and Barbuda, marine trades and local yacht charter businesses, Antiguan yachtsmen, industry training and development, and government and regulatory news.
All content produced within the E-newsletter will also be available on the yachting pages of antiguanice.com.
The travel site has continued to evolve in the 12 years of its existence and last year launched its new look portal with an ever-expanding focus on what’s on and news bringing the site to life and thousands of regularly returning visitors. With the recession biting it has still seen an increase in site traffic and continues to see 540,000 visits to the site each year and 2.4 million page views. This diversion into the yachting sector is a further strengthening of its position as the number one web portal for the twin-island state as well as a necessary tool with which to market the very important yachting sector as a destination to a local, regional and international market.
