Quiet, peaceful anchorage. No permit required. Anchored in front and to the right of the pier. Well away from the large mooring buoy which is used daily by the pleasure boats . Dinghy dock to the left of the pier and a nice walk up the hill with a great view. You could hike or walk further.

We were told about the inexpensive town dock at $20 a night. Limited to 10 nights per boat. Honesty box on the quay.
Public toilets, cleaned and restocked daily, no showers.
Safeway and world market within walking distance . Lots of good restaurants, although some were closed due to a shortage of staff.
Laundrette ( Willys) is quite a walk up hill and apparently is frequented by drug users. There was only one person there when we went but she said it had been full half an hour before . Lots of the machines were broken, this place is unmanned but there is a change machine. $3 /4 for the washers and $2/3 for the dryers. There were some dodgy looking people outside in their cars.

Bicycle hire available, you can cycle along the trail . No cycle routes on the road that we could see but it’s not far to walk to the supermarkets. Some lovely restaurants here too.

You can get fuel from the marina, large dock, very low fenders required, helpful staff.

We anchored just to the right of the pier and the local dock .
Used this dock to moor our dinghy. You can use this dock to moor your boat, reservations required for boats over 80 ft. Boats under 35ft $30 per day over 35ft $40 with a 3 night max stay. You can also just stay fir 4 hours. There’s an honesty box on the gangway. Good holding in mud.

Lovely tourist town, nice restaurants. West Marine, a long walk down to your left, not very well stocked but was told this was due to Covid.
The other direction is the marina with moss rigger is .

There are public toilets near the marina and also on the front.

    Lovely anchorage, calm
, no swells. Anchored for one night at coordinates . Muddy bottom but we were dug in. The only problem was the fog horn sounding continuously through the night. There are also hundreds of birds and they smell a lot.
