Description:

The island of Gotland is a popular holiday destination and Visby is its main port. It lies midway down the north-west coast.

Visby is a UNESCO heritage site and one of the best preserved Hanseatic towns. It was as important commercially in the Middle Ages as Paris or London. Its importance declined due to the devastation of the 18th century wars, so much of the medieval city is preserved.

    Unfortunately they raised the marina fee with about 50% this year. Now you have to pay SK 454,- and SK 65 for the electricity.
