Description:
Located on the far northwestern coast of Palawan, the scenery around this port (and its close neighbour, El Nido) is spectacular. An increase in the number of tourists visiting the area has improved the facilities available here.

just south of El Nido you have the Malampaya Sound which is home to the only school of Irrawaddy dolphins that prefer to live in brackish waters which is found here with the fresh river waters mingling with the sea waters.
The limestone cliff scenery in the El Nido surroundings is truly spectacular. Whales cruise regularly down the Palawan Passage on this the western coastline of the Palawan main island.
