As reported by CSSN:
DATE: 2018-10-27 22:00
Country Name: Grenada
Location Detail: Grenada Mt. Hartman Bay Marina
EVENT: Attempted theft
HAND: 1
Stolen Items: Dinghy
SECURED: Locked
DETAILS: At about 2200 hrs a swimmer arrived at a private dock in Mt. Hartman Bay and lowered a dinghy from its davits. He discovered that the dinghy was securely locked to the dock/davits and then attempted to remove the outboard, which was also securely locked.
Unsuccessful, he jumped back into the water and swam away. A police report was made, and the owners provided video surveillance to aid the investigation.
We spent a month in Secret Harbor on the dock doing some solar install and other fittings. Wonderful pool, sand volleyball and tennis courts, laundry 7 days a week. Only 2 showers for each sex at the dock, but 3 more near the pool. Dock has water, gas and diesel. 12-minute walk over hill to Prickly Bay Marina where there are customs, immigration and additional events most nights.
Secret Harbor has good pizza and burger though a bit pricey. Some of our picks for services:
