Nikos is still the current harbormaster, and he is a friendly and very helpful guy. As noted elsewhere, this harbor can get very full. Lots of charter boats arrive at 6-7 pm looking for a berth and are turned away.
CALL NIKOS (+30 69 75 510 595) during the day to reserve a spot. Ferry wash can be-be a problem here. There are places at the south end where you can come alongside, but they are very susceptible to damage.
We had a fairlead torn out of the deck and the Amel in front of us lost a cleat. You are much better off stern-to the quay.

Update for Naxos Marina – Greece, 21.05.2017
Yachts will find a place in the marina, around 6 pm it gets full, on the southern pontoon, which seems to be reserved for transient yachts, outside with anchor and stern-to.
The hold of the anchor close to the rocky area is not too good. The dockmaster answers the phone +30 6975 510 595 for reservation and assists with berthing. Boats are also moored alongside in a raft at the breakwater. There are water and electricity.
May 23rd, 2016. Naxos harbour/marina is crowded with fishing boats, day-trippers, and cruisers, hard to find space late in the day. When the weather is bad or with strong winds mooring spots are non-existent. Better option on Paros.
At one point there used to be lazy lines, most are gone but the chain on the bottom, about 30 meters from the southernmost pontoon is still there, numerous anchors fouled when we were here.
The high-speed ferries send big swells into the marina, especially on the south end. Boats still anchor between the breakwater and the ferry dock, use caution, there is a cable about 30 meters from the breakwater – consult your charts.
For the summer month, there is a harbor master, but we did not see much of him. We paid our harbour fees at the port police office, for our 14-meter boat about 18 euro a day including VAT, power, and water. For sure Nick is no longer involved in this marina.
Diesel is available from the small tanker truck, comes around at least twice a day, also there is a laundry service. The town has all services, good provisioning, lots of restaurants, bars, atm’s, car rentals etc. Frequent ferry service and an airport close by.
I was there yesterday no Nikola the marina was full of motors boat no mooring so I leave to Naousa Paros By the way I try a few time to phone to Nikola but he doesn’t answer.
I love this place. It is nice good protection and priced fairly. Nick is a great harbormaster. He is always doing something for someone.
The above phone is correct and it is his mobile phone. He is difficult to reach in a voice call. SMS works, but he may not reply unless to tell you he is full.
