Where is Tubuai?
Tubuai is the administrative centre for the Austral islands, which is the southernmost group in French Polynesia. It lies midway between Rurutu, to the NW and Raivavae to the SE and some 500 miles south of Tahiti.
Entrance Notes and Cautions for Tubuai?:
The lagoon is easily entered through the wide pass in the north west of the island which is well marked and presents no danger.
