Description:

This port lies at the northern end of the east coast of Corsica. It is Cap Corse’s largest port and was once used by the Romans as a military port. It is an unchanged little fishing village with a marina and boatyard backed by gentle green hills. Groceries and restaurants are an easy walk from the port.

42° 57.72’N, 09° 27.29’E (harbor entrance)

    Nice port with a small but good shipyard (Corsica Voile) and everything to fill your fridge.
    Close the port you have 2 anchor spots. In the tamarone bay, there is a restaurant U Paradise with a very good kitchen and in a beautiful setting.

    The position of the port is making it also suited as a safe harbor during the winter season, as it is protected against the North West breeze that can blow quite hard at Cap Corse.
