YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

We used the yacht club to go onshore and leave our kayak, as there are no other good places to go ashore. The club did not charge us anything. There seem to be no facilities like showers, and the restaurant is only open on Friday and Saturday evening. Note also that the yacht club gate closes at 5 pm during the week, so you have to back by then to get to your tender.
The town is 1.5km away through a residential area. We felt safe and walked all over town. Supermarket Itao is open 7/7 and a short walk away.
The town itself is nothing special.
We went to the Capitania (Marinha) to check in after they had contacted the yacht club about us. Very friendly and forthcoming.
The anchorage is only pleasant in southerlies. In easterlies, it’s rolly, too. We did not swim, as sewage seems to be emptied into the bay.
The small port of the fisherman, do not exist anymore, is been build a wall and all the basin is completely close.
The only option for anchoring is in front of the Yacht Club together with the fisherman.
Good protection with the southerly wind but very bad and swelling with the northerly winds.
The Yacht club is very friendly and welcoming, even at the anchor and not on the buoy, they come to pick up us with the Yacht dinghy and we enjoy a good meal at the restaurant with live music.
