Published 6 years ago, updated 5 years ago

If like us you are shivering in the chill of the northern hemisphere winter, then warm up with thoughts of summer sailing and bluewater adventures in the year ahead. Our spring seminar programme will help focus your plans, boat preparations and budget priorities, to get you ready for bluewater sailing in the Atlantic, the Caribbean or the Pacific for next winter. Seminars are held in the UK, the USA and in Norway during March and April. We will also be holding forums and presentations in the Netherlands, and Australia in March and July

ARC 2019 could be your launch-pad to offshore adventures, heading out from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in November. Our ARC+ Cape Verde route is now full, but we are still taking entries for the direct route from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia. Those aiming for around-the-world adventure with World ARC, the 2020 start from Saint Lucia still has some spots open but is filling fast.

The biennial ARC Baltic rally is the highlight of our 2019 summer programme and will take the fleet from Germany to Russia and back via Finland and Sweden. Spaces are limited to 30 boats and filling quickly. Do get in touch if you are keen to sail to Russia this August. We will also be celebrating the 25th edition of the ARC Portugal rally in June, as boats cruise south across the Bay of Biscay and explore the Portuguese coast. Details of all our rallies are on the website and links below.

The Ocean Cruising Seminar combines classroom lectures with group discussions and one-on-one interaction with speakers and fellow students. Evening dinners and social breaks throughout the day provide the opportunity to meet others ‘in the same boat’ and planning their adventures like you.
