Yachts visiting or returning to the USA at Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, will no
longer be able to use the 4 red and white horizontal striped smoke stacks as prominent landmarks because progress is replacing the old power plant with a newer more efficient fuel.
The old smokestacks were demolished on 16 July 2013.
Change your charts, these landmarks are gone forever.
