South Pacific, New Zealand: Russell Radio Discontinues SSB Service

SSB service now offered by Far North Radio. Russell Radio continues on VHF Ch. 63 for advance notice for Customs in Opua.
Russell Radio is no longer able to provide an SSB (hf) service to vessels transiting to/from the Pacific and Tasman sea areas.
Commencing 20 April 2013, this service is now run by Far North Radio with the following radio schedule times:
- 1800-1900 hours New Zealand daylight time – 6.516MHz
- 1900-1930 hours New Zealand daylight time – 4.417MHz
Area covered Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, Kaipara, Brett
