ACP Canal Toll Increase 2011
From 1 January 2011 the Panama Canal Tolls will be increased according to a proposal approved by the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP).
Following the proposal, the ACP has opened a consultation with Customers and Users which will run until May 27, 2010. Interested parties may submit their written views and request their participation in the public hearing to be held June 1, 2010.
The increase has also to be approved by the Government Cabinet.
The extent to which the fee increase will affect small crafts like yachts is currently unknown. The current table of increased charges does not include yachts. Information will be published as soon as we receive it. See here [Broken Link] for more information.
