Panama: Latest on Transit Waiting Times
Published 13 years ago, updated 6 years ago
Erick Galvez of Centenario Consulting reports:
Transit queues are changing on a weekly basis. For this week we had a shortage of advisors sign up to work and there are only 2 advisors per day during the weekdays, therefore, a queue is now running up to 17 days waiting time.
We should be getting next week’s advisors to sign up by Friday and transit waiting times may improve for next week.
Will keep you posted.
John Halley of Shelter Bay Marina reports:
We are seeing transit times for sub-60-foot vessels extend once again to between 8 and 14 days from admeasurement. This is actually significantly better than this time last year but cruisers should be aware. I would expect these delays to remain for the 3 weeks following Easter.
