Panama Canal: Increase in Booking Slots and Tariffs Announced
The Panama Canal Authority has announced that as of September 1st, 2024, the daily Booking slots/transits per day will increase to 36 and new tariffs will be in place from January 1st, 2025.

In the Latest Panama Canal Authority Advisory A-31-2024 dated August 28, 2024, the Panama Canal Authority have announced modifications to the transit reservation (Booking) system and new tariffs as of January 1st, 2025.
As an example for yachts considering a transit in 2025, the present booking cost for a yacht under 65 feet is US$1,935. From January 1, 2025 this cost will increase to US$2,130.
There will also be a new vessel scheduling fee from January 1, 2025. For yachts less than 125 feet this will be US$ 500.00.
