Superyachts Dragonfly, Nomadess, and ArcticP teamed up with Yachtaid Global to create Operation Beagle. The operation set out in October and November 2018 with the aim to provide clean water, water storage and filtration systems for all children in the Galapagos.
The project also aimed to educate students about the environmental impact of single-use plastic and provide every child with their own reusable metal bottle.
Local airline, Tame Línea Aérea del Ecuador donated cargo space to transport the bottles.
