Heavy rain and winds are expected to affect both Fiji and Tonga over the next few days as TC Pola passes between the two island nations.
The storm has already caused severe flooding in American Samoa before tracking South.
The Lau group, in the south east of Fiji, has suffered persistent downpours since Tuesday and the rain is expected to continue until Friday as the storm moves southwards with sustained winds of 85mph.
In Tonga, the greatest impact will be felt in the Ha’apai and Tongatapu group, with damaging winds and a great deal of rain.
The worst of the storm will be concentrated out at sea between the two countries, however, flooding and strong localized winds are still expected to affect both countries.
