After Christmas – December 2021 – the Rally will depart Opua in the Bay of Islands, for Abel Tasman and the Marlborough Sounds via the West Coast of the North Island.
At the end of January 2022, the rally will head for Banks Peninsula and then wait for a weather window to head south to Stewart Island. Then the rally will spend February exploring Stewart Island’s many treasures before sailing to Fiordland for a few more weeks before heading back to the North Island around March.
To join this rally, you’ll also need to become a member of Island Cruising NZ which is $75 per year. This will give you access to all cruising preparation workshops & resources to help get you, your crew and your boat ready for the adventure.
