Dave and Glyn Jerling began their journey around the world in 1994 when they left their home town in Cape Town, South Africa for the world’s oceans. From 1994 to 2009 they cruised from their home port to St Helena, Brazil, Venezuela, Panama, the USA, across the Atlantic to Spain and back again to Venezuela.
They spent five years in Panama before transiting the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean and cruising from Costa Rica to Ecuador.
The next part of their voyage was across the Pacific Ocean, from French Polynesia, to western Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand before COVID-19 marooned them in the Marshall Islands. The followings links cover more than 25 years of sailing.
