Ellen and Rand are taking a 5+ year chapter in their life to do a global romp on their Antares 44i catamaran “Golden Glow”. Having traveled to over 70 countries prior to this adventure, they are enjoying the generosity and sharing of cultures with many island nations and coastal communities as they sail the world. In 2014/2015 they traveled the east coast of the USA and then explored many countries in the Caribbean before crossing the Atlantic to visit the Mediterranean. In 2016/2017 they crossed the Atlantic then through the Panama Canal to the Pacific arriving in NZ in November 2017. In 2018 they sailed over to Fiji before returning to Bundaberg, Australia for the cyclone season. Their website has a lot of good articles and tips for long-distance cruising and living on board.
