Yachts Now Welcomed To Palau

Published 20 years ago, updated 6 years ago

There are lots of wonderful positive changes made to the benefit of cruising yachts visiting Palau, courtesy of the Royal Belau Yacht Club which now has an official homeport again including a full-service clubhouse, dinghy dock, bar/grill, bathrooms/showers, fuel station, water supply, trash service etc. etc. We can assist with entry clearance, anchoring, moorings etc. etc. The RBYC has worked closely with local officials to smooth things over and despite reports to the contrary, visiting yachts have been warmly welcomed in Palau since 2002, fees are reduced, and boats are directed to the yacht club upon clearance and are even allowed to clear out from the club anchorage. Cheers and regards from RBYC in Palau and hope to hear from you soon!
