Country Name: SVG
Location Detail: Canouan Charlestown Bay (Tamarind Hotel)
EVENT: Theft
Stolen Items: iPhone 6, Camera, hat.
SECURED: Not Locked
DETAILS: A swimmer boarded us in Charlestown Bay, Canouan, SVG (during the night); he was about 6 feet tall, 180 to 200 lbs. He kicked our small dog overboard after she attacked him and barked, but ran and jumped into the water when I came out of my hatch. I tried to find him in the water with the dingy but he is a very good swimmer and got away in the dark swimming out into the middle of the bay. I had to break off the search after 20 minutes when we realized our dog was no longer on board to search for her. Reported to the police in Canouan.
Editor’s Note: This was the 2nd boarding reported from the same spot in the last 8 days. See CSSN’s summary of boardings and burglaries in Charlestown Bay during the Summer of 2015 at https://www.safetyandsecuritynet.com/summary-of-2015-canouan-reports-of-crime-against-yachts-091415/ [BROKENLINK]
