Hauling Out and Storage Facilities in Madeira

There are two interesting hauling out and storing facilities available in Madeira:
Agua de Pena (32 42 N / 16 46 W)
Under the runway from Madeira airport, there is a new haul out and storage facility opened. It is like storing your yacht in St. Peters Basilica only even more impressive. No rain or sun will harm the boat. The maximum crane load is 30 ton.

Carnical (32 44 N / 16 44 W)
In the commercial harbor of Carnical, there is a haul out and storage facility. The capacity of the crane is 400 tons – the biggest on the Atlantic Islands. Haul in and out – 750 euro. Storage 14 euro/day for a 60 ft yacht. Limited repair facilities.
