YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

    Information provided by S/Y Liberte:
The agent listed on Noonsite (Knidos Yachting & Tourism Agency) no longer exists. So I did a search and found the following and contacted them.

    Datça Marine Yacht Agency
    (Person to contact) Sinan Türksoy
    MOB & WHATSAPP: + 90 (537) 706 9141
    Email: info@datcamarine.com

They asked for the following info:
    – boat’s gross tonnage
    – length, and
    – destination from Datça

After I supplied our info they quoted me 60Euro to check out if you moored to quay at Datça port (check out on anchor will be priced extra by Customs). To arrange checkout they will need:

    – Transit log
    – Registration
    – Skipper licence
    – Passports
    – Yacht insurance
    – Vaccination cards ( if heading for Greece)

    Sedar March 2019
We got Sardars (Sedar Tours) contact of Noonsite for an entry agent to Turkey via Datca and tried to email to no avail. Decided the day before to phone via Viber credit and was pleasantly surprised, clear directions and assurance he would be at the port to direct us in and organise everything. He was, and all went very smoothly. Cost seems to be standard at 650Tl including Poo card. Most pleasant man and found he is on WhatsApp number +905559669267. Can and do recommend him. Also diesel was 6.44 Tl delivered by mini tanker Peter Lewis Sparrow

    Seher Tour Turkey Check in/out

We used Seher Tours both years for check-in and check-out as Datca lays conveniently on route from Turkey to Greece. Dacta is nice little town with small harbour and plenty of anchorages near by. Using Seher was very easy and fast. Their office is at the harbour (100m to the left, if standing on your boat facing land).

It took less than 2 hours for all boat and crew formalities every time (two for check-in and two for check-out). We even anchored out in the bay, and there was no issue with customs etc

    Datca

We ended up using Datca to check into Turkey we anchored in the North Bay, good holding sand and mud and we use Seher tours as our agent ( detail sehertours@hotmail.com) they can be found just outside the harbor by the small roundabout.

Mr. Seher we very friendly we give him our document and left him to it, returning back a few hours later to find it was all sorted, the cost was 280TL about 100 Euro, a word of warning, is best not to tell them you are at anchor or you will be charged another 50 TL for the custom not to visit you , strange I know but I guess it just another way to earn a bit more money, lucky we got away with it .

The only problem was they run out of blue cards.
There are plenty shops and supermarket one very big one if you walk out of the town and turn left at the lights, 10 mins walk .the fruit and veg are fresh and wonderful and very good valve bread cost 1 TL,
There are three Internet shops, we use Tencel 45 TL for a SIM card and 79 TL for 10 GB that will last for three months.

Please note that if you use at Turkish sim in your phone after two months it will be blocked unless you registry the phone, at this point I can’t find out of the phone or the card that they block.

We have now been in Turkey for five days, we have tried to buy a blue card in Bozburun which is also now open to check in, but again to don’t have any, next stop Marmaris hopeful they will have one
