All vessels must contact Tristan Radio prior to arrival, while at anchor and prior to departure.
The government boat carrying the officials will not take crews ashore, who must use their dinghy. In the event of a medical emergency, a boat will be provided.

Comment from Bob Conrich
There is a cafe. I have eaten in it. I do not know its hours – it may only be open on cruise ship days.
There is no restaurant, only a pub that opens at 6.30 pm by which time visiting yachtsmen are required to leave the harbor.
