Jamestown - Boatyards
Services available on the Island for yachts include sail repair, refuelling and some mechanical repairs, including refrigeration systems. There are many local boat owners with repair knowledge and experienced mechanics on the island so usually any repairs can be fixed without too much of a delay.
It is possible in an emergency to arrange short-term haulout on either the Jamestown Wharf or Rupert’s Pier (dependent upon space/cargo etc. on Jamestown wharf). Costs in the region of £100.
Contact the harbour master or logistics coordinator Gene Henry to organise haulout.
For any jobs requiring antifouling, you will need to provide your own paint for the only color antifoul sold in St Helena is red. You also need to hire the slings and cargo straps which they use to strap the yacht to the container.

Thanks for letting us know – very helpful! We are in touch with St. Helena now to find out new contact details or if indeed this business is still operating. Will update as soon as we know more.
Indeed this business is operating no more, so thank you for picking up on this. In fact, Steve Kirk, Harbor Master, has done a great job going through the Jamestown information for us and advising of further updates.
