Moorings
The Port Noro Marina is currently under development and is in a sheltered spot.
There are now 8 swing moorings for short-term stays or longer-term storage.

The marina is expected to be completed by 2026. The following is planned:
- A jetty for 10+ boats
- Water supplies
- Marina buildings with a cafe, small supermarket, Mercury OBM dealer, laundry room, bathroom facilities and a BBQ place for getting together.

Anchorages
This port has several safe anchorages.
There is an overnight anchorage 300 meters away from the main wharf, but ask the port to show you the entrance as it’s quite narrow and only marked with a stick. There is just over 2.2m over the reef. Inside it’s quite sheltered in an otherwise windy bay.
It’s also possible to anchor south of the mooring field and closer to shore.
Be careful as in the middle of the bay are big bommies and rocks and it’s hard to get the anchor up again from 15 – 20 m.
Ashore
Both water and fuel are available at the wharf.
Hilde Larsen (see contact details above) can help with contacting mechanics, electricians, workshops, carpenters, boat cleaners in Noro if needed.
The nearest travel lift is at Liapari on the island of Vella Lavela.
