Poland - Pets
Two useful European Commission links for traveling with pets in the EU:
Poland’s Rules if coming from an EU country
Dogs and cats must:
- have a European pet passport
- be identified with a microchip, or tattoo
- must be vaccinated against rabies
No exceptions are granted, and animals under 12 weeks of age and therefore not vaccinated with a valid rabies vaccine, are not allowed to enter Poland.
Poland’s Rules if coming from outside the EU
To introduce a pet from a third country, you must enter with your pet through one of the designated Travelers’ Points of Entry.
Dogs and Cats must:
- have an identification, either in the form of an EU passport (properly and completely filled before leaving the EU territory) or a Health Certificate issued by an authorized veterinarian from a third country.
- have a valid anti-rabies vaccination
- have a Neutralizing Antibody Titration Test if coming from a third country not mentioned in Annex II of Regulation (EU) No 577/2013
