Poland - Clearance
Notice April 2022: Russian flagged or registered yachts are not permitted to enter any ports in Poland. See news item for details.
With the introduction of the Europe-wide entry and exit system (EES) (now delayed until 2024), biometric data will need to be recorded on entry and exit for third country travelers. While this negates the need to have passports stamped, it will require a visit to an official office at a port of entry, therefore flexible clearance at marinas may no longer be possible once it is implemented. It is not yet known how rigidly EES will be enforced for pleasure boat users.
ARRIVAL FORMALITIES
The Q flag is not used in Poland, and it is your responsibility to report your arrival (on foot, not by VHF).

Ports of Entry:
Swinoujcie, Trzebiez and all larger ports on the Polish coast have Immigration offices or stations.
Only Gdynia and Swinoujcie can be entered under all weather conditions.
General Process:
Non-EU boats, or boats arriving from outside the Schengen Area, must check in with Border Control at a Port of Entry.
The authorities should be contacted on Channel 16 or working channel (usually 10 or 12) before entering the port.
All vessels (even Polish ones) should visit the harbor master when arriving in a new port and prior to departure.
Domestic Cruising:
All yachts, even Polish ones, but check in and out with the harbormaster in all ports.
Peenestrom Channel
Yachts coming from Germany through the Stettiner Haff (Zalew Szczecinski in Polish) must show their papers to the Polish patrol boat stationed at the border (marked by buoys) before continuing to Nowe Warpno, Trzebiez or Swinoujscie for clearance.
You must not continue south on the Odra River without clearing in.

English is understood, but it may be necessary to speak slowly.
CLEARING OUT
Official Border Control is also required on departure from the last Polish port.

Along the polish coast there is a large number of military shooting ranges, which are mapped as forbidden areas. These areas however are only forbidden during exercises. Internet site https://bhmw.gov.pl/en/warnings/current/ has a map of the military activities and other navigational warnings. Additionally a PDF can be downloaded for each area with the dates the area is closed. The PDF is in Polish and English
Does anyone know if it is possible to sail from Krakow to the Baltic Sea?

Kamień Pomorski 53°58’28.0″N 14°46’06.5″E
Just four miles S from Dziwnow breakwater and bridge which opens any even hour. Follow the buoyed channel which is 2m deep.
Marina Kamien Pomorski is one of the biggest and most modern marinas in Poland.
