Buses

The main bus stop is the freeway at the top of Langosta, which is the nicely paved main road leading out of the Marina. Go up the road, past the large cross from which the town gets its name.

It is also possible to get buses to stop almost anywhere along their route as they go along the service road paralleling the freeway.

Look on the window of the bus to find your destination. Rates as of Feb 2012 are $10 MXN to Buceris and $16 MXN to Puerto Vallarta.

The ride to PV is about 45 to 60 minutes.

On your return trip, you want the bus labelled La Cruz or Punta de Mita.

To go to Sayulita (for surfing), you need to take the bus to Bucerias first and then catch another bus to Sayulita.

Taxis

There are two taxi stands:-

The first is just outside the Marina.

The second is at the top of Langosta as you head toward the bus stop.

Clearance- you must check in and out with the port captain directly even if you are staying at the marina. Also, the other marinas and anchorages in Banderas Bay are considered different ports, so you must check in and out when moving between them.

Docking- Dinghy dock fee is $40MXN/day
