La Cruz de Huanacaxtle - Clearance

General Clearance:
Procedures are known to change but currently, all boats in the marina are to check in with the Port Captains. This office is located in the back offices between the Mercado del Mar and the shipyard.
Yachts at anchor should hail the office on VHF 16 to announce their arrival and confirm if the Port Captain would like them to come in.
The marina’s dinghy dock fee is not required to be paid if just visiting the Port Captain’s Office (see below for more information).
Clearing Out:

Dinghy dock fee as of April 2024 is 100 pesos/day. Reports of thefts off of sailboats in the La Cruz anchorage as well as Punt Mita anchorage.
Todo Vela has closed business. Dinghy dock fee is now 80 Pesos/day
Todo Vela has a well-stocked store in La Cruz, at the corner of the main street- Langosta and the highway. They monitor VHF 22.
Clearance- you must check in and out with the port captain directly even if you are staying at the marina. Also, the other marinas and anchorages in Banderas Bay are considered different ports, so you must check in and out when moving between them.
Docking- Dinghy dock fee is $40MXN/day
