Dzaoudzi - Transport & Travel
Flights from the airport at Pamandzi to Réunion, Madagascar, Seychelles, Nairobi, Hararé and Comores. Intercontinental flights can be caught daily from Réunion.
Ferries
The ferry between Dzaoudzi and Grande-Terre is 0.75 Euro/trip/person. Ferries run regularly and are reportedly in good order.
Taxis
There is no public transport in Mayotte and shared taxis are the normal mode of getting around.
Taxis are ‘collective’ or ‘bush’ meaning they may pick up other passengers during your ride. They are more like an on demand bus – but a car – €2 per person per ride for most trips (fuel cans / groceries may be €extra per can/bag). They can be found at most public places or just hailed as you see them.
