Sciacca - Docking
There are two marinas, adjacent to each other, both on the west side of the harbour. The first dock on the left as you enter the harbour is the Circulo Nautico “Il Corallo,” and the second and third docks are the “Lega Navale.”
The Lega Navale seems to offer more services (showers and laundry) and monitors VHF channel 12. It is also slightly more protected from whatever surge enters the harbour. Prices are quite reasonable, and their staff is friendly and helpful. Little English is spoken here.

I would strongly recommend going to Lega Navale and NOT Circolo.
As you enter the port go past the first pontoon on the port side, which is Circulo, and go the next pontoon, which is the Lega Navale.
We stopped for the first night at Circulo because there was no answer from the Lega. Mistake. It is more expensive, without even a shower and no other facilities. With hindsight I should have stopped at the fuel berth just on the port side and then inquired of the Lega marina. We are short handed and need a hand with lines etc.
The Lega was 40 euro a night in July for an 11m boat. The showers are good, there is indeed 3 euro washing machine and the helpful Antonella.
Probably the best thing about this port for us is that there is a very cheap but good quality supermarket about 300m away. Head for town, turn left and there it is. Centesimo.
You can have a serious stock up without breaking the bank and bring it back to the marina in the trolley.
People have described this town as scruffy but we found it charming with restaurants, fantastic ceramics and the thermal baths.
There is also a good supply of chandlery and repairs, servicing the large fishing fleet.
The staff at the Sciacca Lega Navale is especially professional, friendly and helpful. The facilities, including showers, toilets, a small bar and a washing machine are clean and well-maintained. It’s also quite secure, with a card-controlled gate to enter or leave the area. It’s fun to explore the town, bars, shops and restaurants, as long as you can tolerate a rather dramatic staircase from the marina level up into the town center.
Thank you Syd for this useful information.
We stayed at the lega navale dock in July 2018 and we can confirm the positive description provided in the main page: reasonable price (40 euros for a 14-foot boat) and clean facilities.
