YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

The centre of Catania is well worth the walk. Many cafes, excellent coastal views and the peace and quiet of the Botanical Gardens.

We stayed for 2 days at the Circolo Nautico NIC for two days. We found them very accommodating, we rented a car to go sightseeing for a day and we were able to park the car at the premises at no additional charge. The price for a 14-foot boat was 55 euros per night.

SY ANDROS was built in the yard of NIC Catania, completing a circumnavigation here in July 2015. I would highly recommend this yacht club as a base for visiting the surrounding area of Catania, I didn’t find it far to walk into the centre of Catania, and there are many amenities close to hand. The NIC has berths available, reasonable all-inclusive pricing, facilities and helpful staff.

There are 2 chandleries in Catania 1 is in the via Dusmet, about 10 minutes of walk from Yachtclub Circulo and about 3 min of walk from the harbour main entrance, I found them very helpful and friendly and good prices. The other is in the harbour, at the most westerly part. Also here friendly and helpful people. 1= Massimo Comis 2= Nautica Clem
