Tel Aviv - Docking
Tel Aviv Marina is adjacent to the city with shopping, restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Buses to Jerusalem leave from close by. The marina offers a good range of services including fuel and water on the dock, but is a relatively small marina with limited guest dock facilities. Herzliya is a better marina for longer term stays.
There are two chandleries with a good selection close by and marine charts are also available locally. There are various workshops in the area, including haul-out by crane (20 tons). A whole range of repairs can be undertaken, such as engine, electronic, fibreglass or sail repair.
There is a small marina at Jaffa, situated a few miles south of Tel Aviv, however it is very small and crowded with no organised guest dock facilities. Jaffa is an interesting city to visit on foot.
The entrances to both Tel Aviv and Jaffa Marina are difficult and should not be used in strong onshore winds.

Tel Aviv is the largest city in Israel and is located on the Mediterranean coast. Tel Aviv Marina is adjacent to the city with shopping, restaurants and attractions within walking distance. You can access public transportation to Jerusalem (an hour away by bus) close to the Marina. It is not an entry point so you would have to enter in Haifa or Herzliya or Ashkelon before continuing on to Tel Aviv. It’s a relatively small marina with limited guest dock facilities. Herzliya is best for longer term stays.

The description above regarding docking and facilities remains unchanged.
Jaffa is a few miles south of Tel Aviv but the marina is not recommended for visiting yachts. The marina is small and very crowded with no organised guest dock facilities. Save Jaffa for a visit by foot and enjoy this interesting city.
