Matters have much improved here, abandoned boats are gone or cleaned up, the sunken wreck is gone, extra water taps, all lighting working, and landscaping works in hand.
There is a guy collecting €1 per meter lenght per night, no receipt mind, no electricity available yet.
The port is kept nice and tidy and worth the fee to stay.
Great shelter from 30 knot winds outside when we stopped off there.

All the above info. still true, however don’t be put off. We were staying there en-route from Itea to Patras for the night, but stayed an extra day as it’s rather interesting here.

Lovely walks. Odd boats. Just interesting. In a blow the place fills fast, so arriving by mid-afternoon is advised.

We stopped there a few hours to wait some unexpected 40+ knots winds to quiet down. The place is almost dystopian but quite charming. Still, lots of abandoned boats at the little restaurants are still there.

There is an abandoned marina where there are all the most bizzard boats…. It is charmy… You can take a taxi boat from herento Glifada and then a bus to Levpaktos. The bay is very quiet. There are a lot of restaurants and a small beach with very clear water

The state of the harbour is still as above. However, it does provide useful shelter and the small village is charming. The outside of the mole has reasonable depths and we were able to tie up alongside it without issue.

Posted on behalf of Peter Ter Haar, SY Funny Girl:

The harbor of Trizonia at the moment looks more like a dump. Most of the piers are occupied by deserted, dirty old boats.

Some people are restoring boats, sanding with machines etc. running air cooled generators. The sunken ketch is still at the bottom.

Several boats look like the people started to repair them but gave up and left the boats deserted.
