Non-EU yachts entering France in Nice from another EU country, report that Nice Customs are very helpful, but do not want to see any paperwork, nor inspect the boat. They simply reminded the non-EU crew to be aware of their time spent in Schengen.

United Nations Ocean Conference:
120 heads of state and more than 20,000 delegates will be attending the United Nationas Ocean conference on the conservation and sustainable use of the oceans, seas and marine resources in Nice this June from the 9th – 13th.
Security will be extremely heavy, not only in Nice but within a larger perimeter during this time, not only on land, but also at sea. French maritime authorities, have indicated that the zone between Villeneuve-Loubet and St Jean Cap Ferrat will be heavily restricted to navigation.
