La Ciotat - Docking
The most popular place to the berth is in the Vieux Port on the Quai General de Gaulle which is to sta’bd beyond the commercial docks. There is good protection here.
Alternatively, visitors can berth in the Bassin Berouard (basin Sud), the entrance to which is at the southern end of the breakwater. These berths can be rather exposed in strong southeasterly/easterly winds when better shelter if found in the Vieux Port.
Anchoring: There is an anchorage in the north part of the bay, close to Port St Jean. It has a good holding in the sand.

We are a little sad to see the gorgeous port of La Ciotat now overrun with Superyachts. No longer easy to get a spot for a couple of days. We were only here last July.
