North along the boardwalk is a fuel station Emaza. (fuel is not always available). It is advisable to ask the Port Captain for the correct price before making a purchase. The price in Puerto Eden is considerably higher than in Puerto Natales or Puerto Montt.

Check-in procedures change on an annual basis in Puerto Eden…. along with the change of personnel.

When we called in 2017 we were required, for the first time in 9 years, to visit the Capitánia at the far side of the bay. In 2018 they came to us in their RIB and photographed our documents.

There is now a floating pontoon in front of the Capitánia.

Currently diesel is sold by a gentleman who lives just beyond the school. He stores it in 200 litre bidones on the Carabineras jetty. I have always found it to be of good quality, the price in 2018 was CH$1000 a litre.
