On-the-Ground Research and Input

Doyle Guides, the trusted resource for sailors in the Eastern Caribbean, is excited to announce a comprehensive update to their Trinidad & Tobago sailing guide content.

This will be the first major update since 2012, ensuring that sailors have access to the most up-to-date information on marinas, anchorages, marine services, provisioning, dining, and attractions in the region.

Doyle Guides Owner, Writer, and Editor Lexi Fisher will be visiting Trinidad & Tobago in April and May to conduct on-the-ground research, update charts and photos, meet with business owners, and explore new additions to the guide. The updated edition will be available digitally on the Doyle Guides mobile app, which now boasts a 4.5-star app store rating and almost 5,000 users.

Call for Input:  Businesses and Sailors Encouraged to Contribute

Doyle Guides is inviting local businesses and members of the sailing community to help shape this update by submitting recommendations for yachting businesses, services, and nearby restaurants and attractions they think should be included.

Those interested can email doyleguides@gmail.com with the subject line “TRINIDAD” or “TOBAGO” and include:

  • Business name
  • Business location and contact information (Phone, Email)
  • Website or social media links
  • Why this business should be included in Doyle Guides

“We want to make sure the updated guide content reflects the full range of high-quality services, attractions, and experiences that Trinidad & Tobago has to offer sailors,” said Lexi Fisher. “As hurricane activity becomes increasingly unpredictable, cruisers are looking further than they used to for reliable haul-out and marine services in the Eastern Caribbean. This update is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Trinidad’s excellent marine services and the memorable shore-based experiences in both islands.”

Businesses and sailors are encouraged to submit their recommendations by April 30th. For more information please contact Lexi Fisher at doyleguides@gmail.com.
