Give a Child the hope of a future

Hope Fleet is a 501(c) (3) not for profit organization whose goal is to enhance the lives and well being of communities and particularly children, primarily in the Bahamas and Caribbean islands. They have been growing direct relationships with local island communities since 2019.

Capt. Mark & Sharon Noneman are Commodores of the Ocean Reach Division, and work with cruisers (power and sail) to help them deliver needed materials, supplies, and labor to people in need in the Bahamas and Caribbean.

At the start of 2024:

  • Number of Ocean Reach members: 79
  • Number of boats (total): 56; number of sail boats: 39
  • Number of deliveries (total): 30; number of deliveries (2023): 21
  • 2023 cargo delivered by Hope Fleet: 16,000 lbs; of that, 8,000 lbs was delivered by Ocean Reach members with zero customs or shipping costs

Hope Fleet were instrumental in organising yacht aid to the hurricane-stricken Windward Islands post-Beryl. See news item.

Hope Fleet are looking for more awesome cruisers to come aboard and help make a meaningful impact in the communities that they have come to know and love.
How to Get Involved:
  1. Volunteer Your Vessel: Use your boat to transport supplies to remote Caribbean communities.
  2. Spread the Word: Share our mission with your network and help us reach more boaters.
  3. Donate Supplies: Contribute essential items to our supply runs.
