Our plan was a circumnavigation but, once we reached Malaysia, we realised that with the situation in the Middle East and the Red Sea it was not safe to continue. So suddenly, in the middle of nowhere, we needed to sell our boat, our home, our freedom and had no idea how to start. We contacted a few brokers and received the fastest and most competent answer from Rachel Robertson in Langkawi.
By the time we had sailed to Rebak, Rachel had already researched the price and had the description ready so that she only needed to make photos and an incredible video. Some brokers think that they are selling boats but Rachel knows that she is selling dreams and that is exactly what her video sold. Everyone we know watched the video and was impressed. The experts commented that the description was complete and honest.
During the marketing stage Rachel kept us informed of what was happening and backed up what she told us with numbers. Decisions were made with facts and not just “because it feels right”. Pricing was adjusted to ensure the maximum final result.
