Marina is now open and under re-development – 30% discount on berthing being offered. A reservation must be made before arrival as there is limited berthing space. Currently made up of lego pontoons in a state of disrepair. No fuel, showers, wifi, clubhouse – although electricity available to 50% of the berths and water to all. Good location, walking distance from town (pleasant walk along a promenade). 24 hr access (but take care at night as channel markers are connected), zero tide restrictions.
The development plan is as follows:
1) All electrical and water supplies are being overhauled and provide 32 & 64 amp single phase. All utilities are metered.
2) The marina will continue to operate with modular pontoon system and will gradually be replaced.
3) All pile brackets will be replaced.
4) Under-roof trailer boat park will be available again.
5) Onshore facilities will consist of shower & toilet. A Cafe will be under new operator.
