Rally Updates

The World ARC 2023-24 fleet is on the final stage of the adventure, heading from Brazil to the Caribbean. Most of the fleet is visiting the island of Fernando de Noronha, and some are also stopping at Devils Island on their way to Grenada. The rally concludes in Saint Lucia in April.

This photo (above) is from the crew of XC-50 Brainwave (SUI) making landfall in St Helena last month as part of their World ARC odyssey. Located in the middle of the southern Atlantic, St Helena is one of 20 island official destinations on the rally route. Over 100 islands will be in the log book after independent cruising in French Polynesia, Fiji, Australia and the Caribbean. If you’re interested in exploring the islands of the world, click here for a World ARC info pack.

The 34 World ARC 2025-26 boats are now heading across the Pacific to Hiva Oa in French Polynesia, having enjoyed their time in Colombia, Panama and Galapagos. Follow the fleet on World ARC Instagram @world_arc-rally

The 25th ARC Europe sets sail in May, heading west-to-east across the Atlantic via Bermuda, the Azores and Portugal. 35 yachts are in the fleet – a lovely mix of old friends from ARC and ARC+, World ARC circumnavigators returning to Europe and new ralliers from North America.

ARC Portugal is all about supporting new cruisers in their first offshore adventure, and this sociable rally departs Plymouth later in May, crossing Biscay and then hopping down the coast of Portugal to Lagos.

2025 is a big year for east-to-west transatlantics – it’s the 40th edition of the original ARC, the rally that started everything. With 79 boats in the ARC+ fleet and 140 in the ARC fleet, there are still a small number of spaces available if you’d like to join us – email now
