Anne and John Marley have been running regular aid projects from Mackay, Australia to the Louisiades Islands in PNG aboard their yacht “Essex Girl”. There is only one clinic on Nimoa Island for the whole archipelago and one aid post on Sudest staffed by health workers. Donated items they contribute include Malaria detection kits and treatment, thermometers, medication (especially for children), menstrual cups, reading glasses, soccer boots, balls and uniforms, clothing, fishing tackle and dive masks and fins.
